RAM 4 GB (gigabytes).

TPM Trusted Platform Module (TPM) version 2.0. Check here for instructions on how your computer can be enabled to meet this requirement.
GPU Compatible with DirectX 12 or later with WDDM 2.0 driver.
Screen Display High definition display (720p) over 9 inches diagonally, 8 bits per color channel.

  • Go to the Microsoft website and click on Windows 11;
  • Scroll down to the Check Compatibility section
  • Click PC HEALTH CHECK APP.
  • If you prefer, you can click here to the app.
  • and install the Microsoft PC Health Check app on your computer.
  • On the home page, you will see a notification that says ‘Introducing Windows 11’.
  • Click the Check Now button.

  • Once this is done, you can select ‘save and exit’ and the computer will automatically restart.

Microsoft is updating the hardware compatibility list

Even so, if the application shows that your computer is not compatible, we suggest that you wait. Why? Because Microsoft revealed that it will update its hardware compatibility list soon.

The company said the list of hardware-compatible devices is constantly updated in the app. Also, the Windows 11 update will only arrive at the end of the year, that could change until then.
